Hi Insha, yes electronics and communication engineering branch is a very good branch. It is usually a very popular choice among engineering aspiring candidates. It is a branch whose scope in future looks good. An ece student usually gets placed in both his department and in IT department as well.

Your placement will obviously also depend on your college.

Not only E.C.E every branch is good,If we can give best in that.Don't choose E.C.E because relatives or family friends suggestion.People will say it is evergreen branch which have more opportunities if you don't have any interest in that branch it is the best worst branch which may create a big dilemma in your future.

If you are really interested to know about how cell phone,TV,computer and all electronics gadgets working and its background technology.And if you have interest to become a designer/ developer in the field of electronics . In that case yes E.C.E is a good branch. Otherwise it is the worst and toughest branch if you no Interest on the electronics.
