- The portion for Physics, Chemistry and Biology is the same for NEET and JIPMER. The application of concepts in these subjects are tested.
- JIPMER has two more sections of 10 questions each: English & Comprehension and Logic & Reasoning.
- NEET has 180 questions: 45 each in Physics and Chemistry and 90 in Biology.
- JIPMER has 200 questions: 60 each in Physic, Chemistry and Biology and the two other sections mentioned above.

The JIPMER Examination also tests English and Comprehension as well as Logical Reasoning, which are of 10 questions each. The main core subjects are the same i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Biology which are 60 questions each. The total number of questions are 200 and the time limit is 150 minutes.
JIPMER also tests the concepts of 11th and 12th CBSE NCERT books. However, practising JIPMER mock test will help you orient yourself to the Examination pattern.
