Is the number 59000 a prime number?

Kamendra kumar 7th Dec, 2022
Answer (1)
Kamendra kumar 7th Dec, 2022

Definition of a prime number: Numbers whose only factors are 1 and the number itself is known to be a prime number.

  • Hence by this logic, 59000 is not a prime number because 59000 is having many factors that can divide it easily like 2, 10, 100, 1000, and so on.

  • So we can conclude that a number must have exactly two factors to become a prime number. Example: 2, 5, 3, 7, 11, etc.
