IIT Kanpur has released the official question paper I & II both in English and Hindi on May 21. The answer key of JEE Advanced 2018 by coaching institutes is available now. IIT Kanpur will release official JEE Advanced 2018 answer key on May 29. The official answer key of JEE Advanced 2018 will be released separately for Paper I and Paper II. The examination conducting authority will also allow candidate to raise/submit their objections/feedback/comments from May 29-30. IIT Kanpur will send the recorded responses of the students on May 22 to 25, before the release of the JEE Advanced 2018 answer key for candidates to check the same. Candidates can check their recorded responses by logging in. Candidates can download JEE Advanced answer key 2018 and compare their responses with it. By doing so, they will be able to predict their probable score in the national level engineering entrance test.

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced is conducted by the seven zonal IITs with guidance from the Joint Admission Board (JAB). Only the top 2.4 lakh rank holders in JEE Main are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. Till 2017, 2.2 lakh students were eligible to sit for the exam.

Candidates seeking admissions in bachelor’s programmes, integrated master’s programmes as well as dual degree programmes at the 23 IITs and Indian School of Mines (ISM) need to clear JEE Advanced.

Candidates who fall among the top 2,24,000 rankers in JEE Main 2018 across all categories are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. Out of this number, the percentage of candidates eligible for admissions under different categories are as follows:

• General category candidates (from the common merit list) – 50.5%
• OBC-NCL candidates – 27%
• SC candidates – 15%
• ST candidates – 7.5%
• Pwd candidates - Horizontal reservation of 5% in all the above categories
