Yeah it's necessary to renew your obc certificate as when it's tenure gets over.

As because if you will use that expired one in any officials the you will get rejected.

Anyone can renew the certificate by applying for it at the district office of one's city or district. For that, you have to deposit the income certificate along with the application to renew the certificate. Normally, new certificate is issued within two weeks of application.
