Hello there,

The salary of a DNB candidate is not less than that of a MD candidate in India. However, the stipend may vary as per the institute and work experience of a respective candidate.

As per general stipend structure, a DNB candidate get around Rs 20,000 to Rs 30,000 per month . This amount may generally increase as per experience of the candidate.

Generally in government hospitals, a MD in General Medicine may get a starting monthly salary of about Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 50,000/ -. The information is as per resources available on the internet.

Thank you.

What about the difference in salary of a doctor after completing MD and DNB?? Does DNB doctor receive less after residency in India as DNB is not MCI recognised.
