BE is more of theory oriented while BTech is practical skills oriented
In BE more emphasis is given on the theory behind the processes and you get to have strong fundamentals
In BTech on the other hand , more emphasis is given on practical applications rather than thereotical concepts.
In case of be courses internships and industrial visits are essential part of curriculum whereas for Btech it's mandatory.
Generally institutes offering only engineering courses like iits and nits name their course as Btech while colleges offering science courses ( generally universities)name their course as BE.
Both are of equal relevance.
Both are 4 year courses.
AICTE has clarified that it considers both degrees as same.
In foreign countries , sometimes they consider the courses differently but in India both are same .
Both can sit for same jobs same internships.
Thank you.
Absolutely not. Both are same. Companies don't differentiate students based on B. TECH or BE rather they differentiate according to the campus you're from. Syllabus for both are exactly the same. It's more like MBA/PGDM just the names are different. Before you sit for a company interview just keep in your mind what kind of work it does.
All the very best
