is the syllabus for bca and mca the same
Hi,
I hope you are doing well.
B.C.A. stands for Bachelor of Computer Applications. It is a postgraduate degree conferred after completion of a three to four year program of studies. On the other hand, M.C.A. stands for Masters of Computer Application. It is a post graduate degree. They both are conferred on completion of an academic course focusing on applied computer principles and programming. B.C.A. is often regarded as the preparatory course for the M.C.A. M.C.A. degree is a master degree and therefore, provides a thorough knowledge of the subject in comparison to a B.C.A. degree.
B.C.A. and M.C.A are both related to the courses pertaining to computer applications. B.C.A. covers the subjects on an introductory basis. However, in M.C.A, in-depth knowledge of the subjects is provided. Career opportunities are also better with a M.C.A. degree as it is a Master’s degree.
