Hello Albert,

Yes 'Young's Double Slit Experiment in glass slab' is included in CBSE class 12th board examination. This is not any chapter that you will find in the index of the book but it is a very important topic of the chapter "Wave Optics". It covers the major proportion of Wave Optics.

Being one of the major parts of physics ,this topic has more weightage as compared to all other topics in the chapter Wave Optics. Sometimes it is difficult to learn it theoretically so you can learn it practically also in which you have to make an experimental setup and perform it as per the instructions of your lab assistant.

This topic is mandatory for CBSE board examinations because 96% of the time, the question from this topic is asked in descriptive type of questions. So, if you have proper knowledge of this topic then you can easily score in the last section which is of greater weightage. Keep in mind that you have to answer this question according to the score of that question with relevant diagrams and derivations to achieve full marks for this question.

Note that you must have practical knowledge as well as theoretical knowledge of not only this topic but of other topics also to score good marks in board examinations.

GOOD LUCK !!
