Is the TPCS (test practice centers) and mock tests are the same

NTA has made the practice centres (TPCs) of JEE Main 2019 mock test. TPCs has been setup to facilitate students appearing in entrance examinations for Higher Education to hold practice sessions to enable them to get used to the changed mode and pattern of examination. The students who register themselves for JEE Main 2019 mock test can avail the facilities and appear for it available at the practice centres. Hello Ostin,

Test practise centres are the centres where a candidate can take up the mock tests only on weekends. For taking the mock tests at TPCs, candidates will have to register themselves during the weekdays (Monday-Friday) and then they can take the test in weekends. Candidates will have to choose the centres as per their convenience.

While Mock tests can even be downloaded from the official JEE Main site and can be attempted from one's place.
