But rather than sports quota, AIIMS provide reservations to SC, ST, and OBCs. Since AIIMS, New Delhi has released the seats and reservations available for 2019. According to its Admissions prospectus 2019, the reservations for AIIMS Delhi are

Person with disabilities (PwD)-5%
Foreign nationals-7
With a total of 107 seats.
There are a total of 1207 in AIIMS all over India.
For Unreserved category-600 seats
OBC- 321 seats
SC- 180 seats
ST- 96 seats
Person with disabilities (PwD)- 5% of total seats offered in each institute
Foreign seats are provided only in AIIMS, Delhi.
Also, there is an inter-convertibility provision in the reservation system:
1. In case, the required number of Scheduled Caste candidates are not available then Scheduled Tribes aspirants can take their place or vice versa.
2. If SC/ST candidates do not qualify to fill a particular category, then it will be filled by General category students.
3. Also if the OBCs seat are not filled, then General category candidates will acquire them.
There are also some criteria for reservations in AIIMS MBBS 2019:
The OBCs must belong to non-creamy layer, and they must provide relevant certificates, which is not older than a year.
SC/ST must also provide the necessary documents.
PwD aspirants should get reliable certificates from Medical board of the state or Central hospitals/institutions.
