Is there a difference between EWS eligibility and tuition fee waiver eligibility in uptu?if yes then what is the eligibility for tfw scheme?

Dear Atharva,

As per your query EWS (Economically Weaker Section) eligibility and TFW (Tuition Fee Waiver) eligibility doesn't have much difference in uptu. But it is compulsory to belong from general category. 10% EWS quota is only for general category as other reservation categories has their own quotas. For EWS your family's overall income should be less than 8 lakh. Whereas for TFW it should be less than 6 lakh per annum. If these conditions meet then only you are eligible. Hope this helps
