Is there a difference between msc (hons) in mathematics and msc mathematics ??? and what is the eligibility for msc in mathematics ???

hi,

see the eligibility criteria for msc in mathematics is you need to pass bachelors degree in mathematics or mathematics as a core subject, candidates who have done be or b.tech course may also apply for m.sc in mathematics, however qualifying marks criteria may differ college to college.

msc hons and msc both are post graduate degree, however in msc hons syllabus the main subjects has the main topic of full syllabus and research work is must. where in msc course the subjects is balanced with other necessary courses.
