Hello aspirant,



In the beginning there was only Mining Engineering Branch. The hostel capacity was sufficient for 100% students. Later with the additional branches were started from1996 the existing hostel was not able to cater to the needs of all the students. Hence additional hostels for boys and girls were established.

Presently there are Two Hostels for boys and one hostel for girls. These hostels are able to accommodate about 75% of the students.

A structure for Common Mess with the latest gad gets is developed with internal resources to house 800 students at a time. Hostels are provided with all the required facilities like dining hall, Common room, TV Room, Phone connection etc. Approach roads of the hostels are well illuminated.
