Is there a M.Sc mathematics programe in JNU? Give detail?

Yes School of Physical Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University offers an MSc. Mathematics course.


The ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA to apply for the same is as follows :-

• A B.A. or B.Sc. in Mathematics with minimum 55% score (relaxed to 50% for SC-ST categories)

Or

• A B.Tech degree with 6.6 out of 10 GPA or equivalent (relaxed to 5.5 GPA for SC-ST Categories)


The admission is via JNU Entrance Exam for M.Sc. Mathematics


The course includes are 12 core subjects + 1 Project (mandatory) + 3 out of 16 optional subjects.

Each course carries 4 credits for a total of 64 credits.

The entire course is divided into 4 semesters with 4 subjects per semester.

Jawaharlal Nehru University ( JNU ) does not offer M Sc in Mathematics ,it has Master of Science courses in Life Science, Environmental Science and Physics but not in Mathematics.
