Yes, in that case it is called "Externship". Intra-university internship transfers are common and done more easily than Inter-university transfers which involve a more complicated process.
You may ask for internship transfer to another college affiliated to the same university as your parent college, affiliated to another university located within or outside the state or abroad or to a hospital which conducts internship training program.
In these cases, there's a fixed quota for transfers to and from the college and a merit list is drawn for that. You've to apply within 15 days of declaration of your Third Prof. Part-2 results to obtain a NOC from the Dean of your parent college and then from the Dean of the receiving college, pay the prescribed fees and join the college/hospital within 7 days of allotment!
