IVRI offers doctoral programmes in 19 various disciplines and admission to the PhD courses is through the all-India level entrance examination conducted by the IVRI at its various campuses. The institute publishes the PhD admission notice on its website as well as in the national newspaper. As per the guidelines mentioned in the notice, candidates have to submit their application forms. Successful candidates attaining a valid score has to appear for the interview at IVRI. The research committee of the IVRI publishes the merit list of shortlisted candidates and accordingly the candidates have to get admission to IVRI Izatnagar and do the documents verifications and fee payment.
