There are many colleges who have their own test for admission.

One of the best institute is Regenesys Institute of Management, multi - country MBA program. Students only have to appear for RMAT (Own Test) and Personal Interview round. If cleared you will get the admission for MBA.

No cat cmat exams are not important, if you have good verbal and written skills in English,as most of the International Colleges teach in that language, also there are other competitive exams like RMAT from reputed College like Regenesys Business School which can help you get admission.

CAT or Common Admission Test which is conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) is only one of the entrance exams conducted for entrance into Management schools.

There are plenty of other entrance exams from other management schools like the XAT, SNAP, NMAT, MAT, CMAT etc.

Then there is GMAT which is accepted globally at major colleges and universities.

The above mentioned entrance tests are very tough , competitive and challenging exams. These exams though important and having a wide acceptance are not mandatory for securing a MBA admission. There are many reputed  business schools and institutions in India to which a GMAT/CAT score is not compulsory as long as the overall profile of the student fits and matches the eligibility criteria laid down by the institute.

Such institutes though limited offer some really good MBA programmes, one such program is I nternational Leadership Multi-Country MBA offered by Regenesys Institute of Management. This college is headquartered in South Africa and has a campus in Vashi for Indian students. They do not consider scores of any of the competitive exam for admission to their I nternational Leadership Multi-Country MBA. They have a customised in house test which goes by the name of  RMAT - Regenesys Management Admission Test for securing an admisision to their MBA course.

Even though CAT and CMAT are commonly accepted scores which determine the admission of students to most of the business schools in India, these entrance tests are not the only mandatory tests to get admitted to a MBA course.

They are many colleges who have their own entrance exam for MBA courses. For Eg: NMIMS has NMAT. Symbiosis has SNAP etc

Likewise, there is an entrance test called RMAT - Regenesys Management Admission Test  which is conducted by Regenesys Institute of Management, India. If you are able to clear the RMAT test by Regenesys you are on your way to secure admission to a very sought after MBA course called International Leadership Multi-Country MBA which has a limited intake.

CAT , MAT , CMAT and GMAT entrance exams whose scores are considered for admission in a MBA course. These scores are accepted by majority of the colleges and institutes in India. However, if you still want to pursue an MBA from a reputed B-school you can do the same without these entrance exams.

Regenesys Institute of Management one of the premiere B-schools which is offering a  International Leadership Multi-Country MBA Programme does not look at CAT , MAT , CMAT and GMAT entrance exam scores. They have their own entrance exam called RMAT - Regenesys Management Admission Test which they ask the prospective students to undergo before taking admission to the  International Leadership Multi-Country MBA.

No you can't get admission in any good college without giving exams like CAT, CAT, CMAT, MAT, CAT etc. You need to appear in one of the exam because every college prepare a merit list based on the marks or percentile you got in any of these exams along with other parameters like work experience, 10th 12th and graduation percentage etc. which has different weightages for different colleges.

Then on this merit list students are called for interview and WSAT round. Again after this round a new merit list is prepared. This time interview and WSAT marks are also included in the merit list with different weightages. And then students are offered admission on the basis of final merit list.

So you can see that your marks of these exams are one of the most important criteria in your whole selection and it also has the highest weightage in both the merit list. So it will be better if you start preparing for these exams and sit in these exams next year.

With growing competition doing MBA is not enough, you need to pursue MBA degree from a top reputated college. I strongly recommend you to start preparing and sit in exams next year.

All the best!!

Yes obviously it also has same 2 stage procedure. There you need to have valid score of one of the exams among CAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT. Then there will be second round of GD and interview round. Then based on your academic records, entrance exam marks, GD PI marks a merit list is made and students are offered admission.
