The answer to the first part of your question is Yes. SRFTI has an offline entrance exam. The test has 100 questions, divided into two sections, to be completed within a duration of 3 hours. SFTI entrance exam has both subjective and objective type of questions. The officials shortlist candidates basis the exam score for further admission process.

Coming to the next part of the question about selecting the better one. Considering various factors and parameters like faculty, equipment, exposure etc, in my opinion, both are same.
