As per the official notice in AIIMS website, there's no particular limit upto which a candidate can appear for AIIMS.

But one thing must be made sure that the appearing candidate has completed 17 years of age by December 2018 and he must be below 30 years of age in order to be elligible to sit for the prestigious exam.

There is no limit for  the number of attempts in aiims entrance exam. But yes , there's a limit for maximum age and that is a student can appear for aiims entrance test  till 30 years of age.
