NEET is the common entrance examination for the admissions in medical, dental, ayush et cetera courses. To be eligible to write NEET, here is the eligiblity criteria
Candidate must secure minimum of 50% aggregate in 10 + 2 higher secondary education from a recognized college/ university. Minimum age must be 17 years of age. The subjects in 10 + 2 higher secondary must be physics, chemistry and biology
As you have mentioned that you got 79 % you are eligible for writing NEET exam.
Coming to the KANNUR MEDICAL COLLEGE MEDICAL SEAT, it is too early to predict the admission on 480 marks. But you have also not mentioned about your category
Chances are high if you come under OBC/SC/ST. For General category. you require marks around 540 to get a medical college. If you score less, you may land up in a private college.
I would suggest you to attend all the counselling rounds and wait for the results as marks fluctuate every year around 10 - 20 marks for cut off
