Yes, of course can get admission in good colleges if yiu can score well in JEE mains.Your class 12th board marks do matter but only for admission in NITs,IIITs and CFTIs because its mandatory to get 75% in boards for getting admission in these 3 college but apart from then you can get admission in all the private colleges. So, try to score well in JEE mains to get good colleges.
I hope this helps
Hello,
There is some chances of getting a good college after clearing JEE mains also. It depends upon the college criteria that at how much marks and percentile as well as percentage did they take the students for B.Tech courses. Ve Main Aur me not get it colleges with less marks in boards and good marks in JEE Mains.
I hope your question has been answered properly.
All the best!
Hello Aspirant
There is a criteria set up by NTA which is that the candidate must score atleast 75% aggregate in class 12th( for general) and 65%( for SC/ST). If the candidate is able to clear it only then he's able to get a college through JEE main examination else he won't be allotted a college through JEE main examination.
For someone who scored less marks in boards it is recommended to try and give more examinations such as BITSAT UPSEE VITEEE and try in private universities.
best of luck
