Is there any chance that I will lose my seat and get no college in upsee counselling if I chose option float in round 1?I got KIET IT(TFW).
Hello,
Yes if you have been alloted a seat in round1 itself. So if you have floated your seat, then if you loose your seat in KIET CSE,then your alloted branch i.e KIET IT (TFW) will be given to you.
Suppose a student gets a seat in a particular branch of a college in the first counselling round, and if he/she floats the seat, then if the student is not able to get his/her desired choice in round2,then the previous alloted branch i.e the branch that he was alloted in round1 will be again alloted to him.
Don't Worry.
You will get KIET- Information Technology branch if you couldn't make up in the second round.
But always remember to put multiple options during the choice filling.
ThankYou!
Best Wishes!
If any queries, feel free to ask.

You will be alloted the seat of your 1st round counselling.
Then also stay updated.
Hello Sachin Gupta.
I would like to inform you that once you have got a seat in any round of counselling, there is no chance of loosing a seat.
If you choose for freezing the seat then you will get that seat, but , if choose to float then if you you get any other college in upcoming round then only your previous seat will be vacated. If not that seat will be retained.
Hello aspirant!
Yes, you will loose your seat if you have not filled up KIET(IT) in the choice filling. The counselling process resets as soon as you choose float option. You loose your seat at that moment only and once again during the second round, the control stops at your previous college. This can only happen if you don't get a college above than that. I hope this information was helpful!
I wish you all the very best!
