Hii,
Scoring 162 marks in stage 1 exam of NTSE is pretty good. Last year the cutoff for NTSE UP was 121 out of 150 marks for General Category. But this year due to major changes in the exam pattern the cutoff for every state is varying. This year the cutoff has been released by some of the states.
UPCERT will release the cutoff for UP NTSE anytime soon. This year it is expected that the cutoff may go up to 160 for general category. So you may have fair chances to get selected for stage 2 exam. To confirm your selection, you will have to wait for the releasing of cutoff which can be checked using the link given below:

Hey.
The cut off for qualifying the second stage of NTSE from Uttar Pradesh was around 121 marks out of 150 in the previous year. The cut off varies each year due to various factors like level of competition, difficulty, number of candidates and more. Hence you can expect the cut off in a Similar range out of 200. This year the maximum marks were also 200 instead of 150. Considering this you seem to have a fair chance to qualify. Rest would depend on the factors. You can expect the result to be out some time in February only.
Best of luck
