Hi,

With the marks of 496 in NEET and belonging to the general category the chances of getting a seat in the government medical colleges is quite low. However you may try for private medical colleges which might be quite possible enough. However the cutoff varies every year and also statewise. The private medical colleges in Tamil Nadu may include

CMC Vellore - Christian Medical College

SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, Chennai

SRMCRI Chennai - Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute
