If you are talking about nits ; IIITs and GFTI and IIT s than no ; their no such counseling .
Because for admission in these colleges you have to hit minimum criteria of 12 th percentage ( for eligiblity to take admission ). And admission is done on ranking in entrance.
But there are some colleges ( only a few ) ; which give admission on basis of 12 th marks . Yes for those colleges you have to go through their own process and counseling .( You should check the specific college site for its information because each college has its own rules and procedures).
