Dear Tiwari

As you mentioned, any one option you can consider. Both need that to be necessary.

MHT CET 2018 Eligibility Criteria related to Qualifying Exam, Age and Year of Passing:

Indian Nationals who have passed HSC/12th class exam or its equivalent examination are eligible for appearing in MHT CET 2018.

There is no age limit for appearing in MHTCET 2018. This means that there is no restriction about passing the qualifying examination in a particular year.

Also, candidates appearing in the qualifying examination (HSC/12th) in 2018 are considered eligible for appearing in MHT CET 2018.

Hi Anushka, As per your query about CBSE board and MAHARASHTRA domicile compulsory for MH CET, I would like to inform that NO both presumption are not correct

The student of General category must have scored minimum 50% aggregate marks in class 12thor equivalent exam from a recognised board/University with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, while reserve category (SC/ST/OBC) candidates need to have scored 45% and above in class 12th.

The approximate number of questions based on 11th standard will be 10 and from 12th standard will be 40. The questions will be application based.

85% of the seats in the state engineering colleges will be filled through MHT CET, while 15% seats in private unaided colleges/institutions of Maharashtra state will be filled on All India Quota basis for which candidates have to appear in JEE Main

Hopefully it helps

Regards

For writing the exam, NO. what will the maharashtra board kids do then? The actual eligibility is that you should have passed class 12 from any recognized board or are appearing from a recognized board. that can be CBSE, ICSE, Maharashtra or any state board. Anyone can write the entrance test. Moreover there is no age limit for MHT CET

The eligibility specifies categories for admissions as Maharashtra students will have the option for Govt seats. so in all essence the domicile will matter for admissions and not for writing the entrance exam. Do write back if you have more queries.
