Shreyas, almost all the engineering college will follow the same criteria for shifting the branch i.e

- Proper and valid reason for shifting the branch
- Vacant seat in the respective branch in which you wish to shift for

Hii shreyas.
It is very very difficult To change the field after 1 year in BITs Pilani..You should have to Be in Top 5 students Among the whole Class..It means Your CGPA should be More than 9.5 After 1 year..
It should be Recommanded that please don't Join The college with the thinking of changing the field After 1 year..Because It is near to impossible
