Is there any demerit of EWS quota? Can't the candidates having ews quota fight for the general seats?

Hello Chanchal,

See any category student can fight for general seats and the common rank is also based on general ranking and common listing.

If you've applied as a general ews candidate then it is not a problem for you at all. You'll be representing your category as well as general category both at once.

So it doesn't matter for the reserved students that they have filled the form as reserved candidate or as a general student, they represent both categories at the same time.

Hope it helped.. :)

Yaa it will obviously be a plus point if you've applied as a EWS candidate and you will not face any problem at any cost and is always going to help you in a positive way.
