Is there any difference between mechanical engineering and computer science engineering ?
Hello aspirant,
One major difference between both is that computer science focuses more on the digital aspect of design and development while mechanical engineering focuses on the physical construction of the tools and techniques.
Mechanical engineers research, design, develop and test mechanical devices, like tools, engines, and machines. Computer programmers, sometimes called computer engineers, design, write and test computer software.
It appears that on average, computer science majors at top schools make between $8k and $21k more than electrical engineering majors, and between $16k to $36k more than mechanical engineering majors, depending on the metric used and the school.
Computer scientists are creative, logical, and resourceful. They work both independently and collaboratively to solve problems.
Thank you
