There is no such difference between CSE & ISE. CSE is a branch which deals with the basic elements of computer programming and networking. In this course, you get the knowledge of design, implementation, and management of information systems of both hardware and software Whereas ISE deals with only software.

In term of Placement, both branches are good but in the comparision of ISE which is pretty new, CSE  has wide scope especially in off campus drives. ISE will have good campus placement as college will help you with it, but in off campus it will create some issue as ISE is not widespread.
