Greetings, aspirant!
BMS (Bachelor's of Management studies) and BBA (Bachelor's of Business administration) are both UG degrees that are excellent in their own way.
BMS is a general course that offers students the knowledge of various fields with the option to choose between Marketting and Finance in their final year as their core subject.
BBA has an edge over BMS in the sense that BBA has various specialized subjects for students that are clear on what they wish to pursue in their post graduate education. However, General BBA without any specialization is very similar to BMS.
Depending on the institute from which you pursue either of these two degrees, your exposure, knowledge base, placements, fee structure etc. vary greatly.
Over-all, both of these courses are excellent and you're free to choose whichever one takes your fancy.
Hope this information helps
Best of luck!!
Dear Aspirant,
Both of these courses are approximately same with some colleges just changing the names with almost same syllabus in these courses.
Both these courses are management courses, BMS course concentrates on analytical and logical oriented studies , while BBA course concentrates on core studies .
You can go for MBA after any of BBA or BMS completion of the under graduation course. However, for MBA graduates with BBA degree are given more preference as compared to students with BMS degree.
Hope this helps. Thank you.
Dear,
BBA is the bachelor of business administration. BMS is the bachelor of management study. In BBA you learn about Business,Trading, Marketing and business related everything. In BMS you learn about management, how to manage the situation in business and trading. You should choose which do you want. If you want to become a manager you can choose BMS, if you want to go in business field and trading, marketing you can choose as you want. But both are different in their study. The core of both these courses is usually the same, and how they're taught is where the difference lies, and that depends on the university/college you enrol in.
BMS usually includes more of analytical and logic-oriented studies and focuses on equipping students for managerial roles. BBA, on the other hand, has more scope for studying core subjects as well as their practical applications through presentations, projects and internships.
Hope this helps!
