The admissions to BHM are done through both entrance tests and on the basis of merit. In both cases, personal interviews might follow.
BHM: Eligibility
The basic eligibility for pursuing this course is that the students should have cleared their 10+2 exam from a good school. The school should be affiliated to a board recognized by the Indian government. They should also have obtained satisfactory marks, i.e., the minimum marks as mentioned by the universities individually. Different universities keep different criteria. The range varies from 55%-80%.
BHM: Admission Process
The admission process for the entry to this course varies from college to college. The forms begin to come from as early as December with the entrance tests scheduled from April to July for different institutes. Admission may be procured through an entrance exam, direct admission or lateral entry.
Entrance Exam
Institutes like GD Goenka School of Hospitality and Christ University conduct entrance test for admission to this program.
Under Graduate Aptitude Test ( UGAT ) conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA) is one of the nationally conducted entrance tests for entry to BHM.

Haldia Institute of management, Haldia provides admission into Bachelor's of business administration ( hotel management ) çourse course via merit based system.
The Eligibility criteria for the course states that the candidate must have passed class 12th with minimum 50% marks from a recognised Board of education.
