delhi university provides admission for the course B.A english hons to the students on  the basis of merit they release every year, however the departments of english , delhi university conducts an entrance test every year that is DU CATE examination , there are 12 affiliated colleges of the university which conduct this entrance exam , rest all the colleges do offer admission on the basis of merit for the same course.
