No there is no entrance exam to study M.A History in Guwahati University. Master of Arts (MA) in History is two-year duration full-time postgraduate course and it is offered by the Gauhati University, Guwahati. The admissions will be conducted on the basis of merit in the Qualifying Examination based on G.U Rules. Gauhati University is a public state university established in 1948. The university is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). NAAC has accredited the university with an ‘A’ grade.
