Hey, yes ofcourse there are other entrance exams for engineering undergraduate courses apart from the joint entrance exam. Every state has its own engineering entrance exam like wbjee tseamcet apeamcet or mhtcet. You need to apply for your state's exam. You should keep an eye open for that. Apart from that, each college also has its own entrance exam like MIT and VIT SRM etc.

Hello Shubha

There are many other entrance exams for engineering colleges in India. To start with there are CET exams for state level engineering colleges in your state. Then there are many private colleges that have their own entrance exams like BITSAT for bits colleges, VITEE for vit, SRM and many others. You could give any of these and get into engineering if you have not given JEE mains or don't want to give it.

Hope this helps.

Hello,

For entrance to udergraduate engineering courses in  B.Tech various exams are conducted every year. NTA conducts JEE for admission to NITs, IITs and other government colleges. BITS conducts its own exam to give admission in BITs campuses throughout country. Similary, Indraprasth University Delhi conducts its own examination.

Even some states conduct there own exam like UP conducts UPTU for admission to colleges in UP. Maharashtra also conducts entrance exam.

So,there are many entrance exams conducted by individual universities and states.
