Pavithra, you haven't mentioned the State you belong to. This is important because each State has its own reservation criteria. You must be aware of the fact that NEET counselling is conducted at 2 levels. One is All India Counselling. Under All India Quota, All the 15% of All India Quota Seats except for Jammu and Kashmir, 100% Seats at Deemed and Central Universities, IP Quota seats in ESIC Colleges, Seats at AFMC, AIIMS and JIPMER are filled by DGHS. Here there is no Ex-servcemen quota. You have to applY for Counselling based on your Category i.e. UR/OBC/SC/ST. The other is State Counselling. The 85% State Quota and Private Colleges are filled by the respective State Authorities. And there are 3 Categories in Private Medical Colleges. Here depending on the State you belong to, there is Ex-servicemen Quota. For example, in States like Tamilnadu, the Ex-servicemen quota is 1%. That is approximately 2-3 MBBS seats in whole of Tamilnadu. If you belong to any other State, please do let us know and we shall help you with that State's ex-servicemen quota.
