Dear student, Yes. Colleges will refund the fees. They will deduct some amount while refunding.

Now, there is a different policy. If you take admission in another college, your fees will be adjusted on its own. You will have to pay the differential amount only. And if fees of new college is less, the difference will be refunded to you.

And if you change the course in the same college then you have to pay the additional differential amount if the fees of course is higher.

There is no deduction from fees, rather it is directly transfered to the next College you take admission in.

During cancellation from the previous College you have to pay a cancellation fee that is around 1000rs to the college itself.



In case the fees of college A is 12000rs  that you have submitted and now are cancelling to move to a better College B  whose fees is 20000rs, you will HV to pay the surplus 8000 through DU portal.

In case the fees of College B is RS 8000, you will be refunded the 4000in your bank account.
