Every year scholarships are provided to a group of students on the basis of extracurricular activities, merit based and in case of need.

Yes you will get a scholarship based on your 1st year results. The toppers( based on the CGPA of 1st year) of each and every department after the completion of 1st year will receive a particular amount as scholarship from GAABESU( Global Alumni Association of Bengal Engineering and Science University) office. Not only 1st year, Merit-Based Scholarship is also given to departmental toppers for subsequent years too.

You can also avail Book Grants and Need-Based Scholarship based on your annual family income .
