In West Bengal, there are the following 3 Agriculture universities, which are recognised by ICAR.

Bidhan chandra krishi viswavidhyalaya,Nadia has ranked 1st among State Agricultural Universities & 31st among Top 100 Universities of India ( Year Established: 1974, Total seats for BSc Agriculture: 175+20 for ICAR)
College of Agriculture, Mohanpur ( No. of seats for BSc Agriculture: 111)
College of Agriculture, Burdwan Sadar ( Year Established: 2014, No. of seats for BSc Agriculture: 32)
Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya, Pundibari , Cooch Behar ( Year Established: 2001, No. of seats for BSc Agriculture: 66)
Vishwa Bharti, Shantiniketan (Founded by Rabindranath Thkur in 1921, is a central university and an institution of national importance with Agriculture Faculty) ( Year Established: 1921, Total seats for BSc Agriculture: 175+20 for ICAR). Admission is based the on entrane test conducted by the university. The Admission Test for B.Sc. (Ag) Honours will cover Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, General Agriculture, General Knowledge and English.
Eligibility: Candidate must be a permanent domicile of West Bengal, must have passed HSE with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, or Agriculture securing at least 50% (40% in case of SC/ST/PH) marks.
Application: Apply online. The application fee is Rs. 600/- (for General/OBC/Sports) candidates and Rs. 150/- (for SC/ST/PH) candidates. The online application opens in the month of May and closes in the first week of June evry year.
