Is there any internship with abroad available in BITS campuses?
BITS is one of the most reputed institutes and they offer a programme called practice school. For those with first years or post first year ,it is definitely hard to get internships but for those post second year ,the practice school 1 is available for students for internships. It is a compulsory course and goes for eight weeks. It is for providing industrial experience and exposure for students. It includes plant visits and working on projects. This is also based on CGPA.
After third year ,students get to work under a lot of institutions from abroad such as Mitacs Research Internship, CERN,DAAD alon with stipends.
After fourth year, the practice school 2 provides opportunities to work for international organisations. Every year new institutions are added and old ones are removed .Some of the organisations included in the program are DreamWorks Animation Studios, Instead Business School ,etc. Even if you don't get Internship opportunity in practice school due to low CGPA, you can apply for internships by writing applications to universities and professors abroad.
There are plenty of opportunities available to a BITSian for a foreign internship.You can get internship in CERN,DAAD,EPFL.
