Dear Student,

First of all let’s see the eligibility criteria of the examination that you had mentioned.

Public service Commission- The fundamental eligibility requirements for each state's PSC test vary because each state in the US has a unique conducting body for its own state-level exam. You  can verify the prerequisites for the state they are applying for on the official website.

In case of Kerala PSC - The applicants must be citizens of India and have a legal document proving their status as permanent residents of Kerala. According to the eligibility requirements for the Kerala PSC 10th Level Prelims, aspirants must have earned an SSLC or an equivalent degree.

UPSC - The UPSC does not judge applicants unfairly based on their degree test results. As a result, there is no required minimum qualifying percentage for IAS eligibility. The following list includes the UPSC's requirements for educational eligibility for the UPSC exam:

1.The applicant must be a graduate of a university with official recognition.

2.Candidates who are in their final year or who are awaiting results are also eligible to take the UPSC preliminary examination.

Railway test - Candidates who finished Class 10 at an institution accredited by NCVT/SCVT or one of its equivalents and who hold a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) issued by NCVT/ITI degree are eligible to apply for the RRB Group D exam. For undergraduate positions, candidates applying to RRB NTPC must have completed Class 12; for graduate level positions, candidates must have completed graduation. Candidates for Assistant Loco Pilot must have completed Class 10 or SSLC Plus ITI, Act Apprenticeship Training, or have a diploma or degree in engineering. Candidates for the position of technician must have completed Act Apprenticeship training or Class 10 with Physics and Math, or have a diploma in engineering (As Applicable). Candidates for the RRB JE position must have earned their engineering diploma.

As you can see the eligibility criteria of the above examination, graduating with industrial chemistry will not hold you back from giving those examinations. You are eligible for all the exams you mentioned.

Next thing is if you can opt for masters in chemistry if you do Bsc in industrial chemistry. Now let’s see the eligibility criteria for masters of chemistry -

Applicants for the MSc in Chemistry programme must hold a bachelor's degree in science from an accredited institution of higher learning. To achieve the minimum requirements for admission to the MSc level, the candidate should essentially receive 50% to 60% grades at the graduation level.

So yes you are eligible to do masters in chemistry after completing Bsc in industrial chemistry.
