Yes you can take your fee refund from srm university according to ugc guideline 2016. Since the rising concern of students about fee refund, ugc had made several rules for every university and college which have to be followed by respective colleges.

Important dates of srm regarding fee refund

1.100% refund - 15 days before official notifications of last date of admission.

2. 90%- less than 15 days before the formally before the formally notified date of admision

3.80%- 15 days or less after notification of last date admission .

4 .50%- 30 days or less

5.0%- more than 30 days after formally notification of last date of admission.

It will take around 30 days to get money back into your account.

Note - processing charge may be deducted but not more than 5000.

You can send a Email regarding this or you can call to the accounts department or Admission Department of SRM University & tell them that you want to cancel your admission. They will Cancel your Admission & reund your fees within 10 days. Hope this information is helpful for you.
