If you're asking this question in reference to UPSC Civil Service Examination, then there are two papers in prelims- General Studies and CSAT(General Studies-2).
The first paper General Studies has 100 questions with total marks being 200 with negative marking scheme.
The second category, CSAT paper is of 80 questions with total marks being 200 marks, this paper is of only qualifying nature, one needs to attain 33%, i.e.. 66 marks only.
The results of UPSC Prelims is just based on how you fare in GS Paper I, since CSAT is only qualifying paper, cut off vary every year, I've provided you the data below for more clarification regarding this matter.
