Is there any NIT college in which. I get cs branch having 85 percentile and from sc caste.
hello aspirant,
85 percentile could fetch you a rank around 153450-172500 and sc category rank around 8000-9000 .now these are based on previous year analysis .As of now its tough to say because the analysis and also cutoffs change every year due to many factors like total students appearing for exam, difficulty level of paper etc.based on your rank you have fair chances to fetch seat in government colleges like nits, iiits.you have chances to get into nit agartala-biotechnology based on last year round 6 cutoff closing ranks.note that each cutoff changes and if it changes so are your chances into colleges.you can surely take the advantage of homestate for nit.workhard for the upcoming jeemain sessions..you can get closing rank for josaa official website: https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

Hi
With 85 percentile
-
Your rank will be around 153450 - 172500 as per our rank predictor at
Your sc rank will be around 9000. At this rank getting a seat in computer science is extremely difficult.
For instance,
Your profile suggests that your home state is Madhya Pradesh so you will be eligible for home state quota in NIT Bhopal but even under home state quota in 6th round of josaa counselling 2020 closing rank for Computer Science for SC category was 1832 sc rank for gender neutral.
You have chances for lower branches in lower NITs with your rank.
For example,
You have chances in National Institute of Technology Agartala for Production Engineering for which closing rank for SC category under other state in 6th round of josaa counselling 2020 was 9207 sc rank
You can check the same at official website of josaa at
https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx
Above prediction is on the basis of past year data but cut off/closing rank for colleges keeps changing every year depending upon many factors like number of students that appeared in the examination, difficulty level of the JEE main question paper for different shifts etc so

hi,
see cutoff score fluctuate every year and it varies with some determining factors like number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, students category and so on. however at this score it is quite difficult to secure a seat in nits, since computer science is major demanding stream right now. so I suggest you to secure more marks in next exams of jee mains. try to score 95+ percentile for better chances.
