They are far outnumbered by SoftwareEngineers, but they are still there. You can peruse the Google job listings for an idea of what's available. And in general,Google hires people that can solve problems, rather than perform a specific function, like coding or circuit layout or thermal analysis.

Thus, you don't need to worry about it and just work harder in these 4 years of engineering.
