Sorry but there is no option to enter NIT,IITs without qualifying JEE Mains exam.Candidates must have passed 10+2 exam after 2015 and candidates appearing for their final examination in 2019 can also apply for JEE Mains. For admission in to NITs, IITs,CFITs general candidates need to score a minimum of 75% aggregate marks and for SC/ST candidates the aggregate is 65% minimum.Number of attempts for the exam to qualify is 3.This is the criteria for B.Tech/B.E courses.
Thank you.
For an Indian(Nationality) student, it is compulsory to clear the JEE Mains with the required qualifying mark. Assuming your query to be getting into NIT to study an undergraduate course, clearing JEE Mains is the only way you can do so. If you are talking about Mtech admission, then clearing GATE is mandatory.
Hope this helps
All the best !
Sorry to say but you cnno get admission in Nits without clearing JEE mains ,i.e for ug courses only jee mains score is accepted. However if you have done your +2 outside India then your SAT score is accepted for admission.
Hope it helps.
