Yes, you can appear in other exam as well to take admission in these branches you can appear for Amrita, SRM or your state level entrance exam.

There is no easier way to get into these branches you have to work hard as other fields. Aerospace engineering is famous branch among students and it has lot of scope in the future.

If you have interest in these branches you should try to get admission in top colleges. So, that you can get good placements.
