while filling your JEE Mains Application form candidate needs to be aleart, correction form is a facility, it is not something which should be essentially opted by everyone.
Thing you need to be clear about that you want to appear for both paper 1 and paper 2 or you want to appear for either of them and the category you opt, as you select reserved category, you will have to produce the document as well.
Or else even after filling JEE Main Correction form you will not get any refund amount in following cases .
If you have opted to appear for both the papers and now want to appear for either of them.
Earlier you have chosen for gen/obc category but now you want to go for reserved category as a correction.
No, the authorities won't provide you the option refund in the JEE mains entrance exam application form since it should be known by the every JEE aspirants that the fee of JEE application form is not refundable. So while filling the application form one should be careful about each and every fine details about that.

Using the application form correction, the following details will be open for editing or correction:
Personal Details:Candidates will be able to change their personal details in case of spelling mistakes and more.
Academic Details:Information regarding the academic details of the candidates will also be open for editing.
Change of Paper:Candidates will be allowed to change their choice of paper from Paper I to Paper II (and vice versa). Both papers can also be selected for which the candidates will have to pay the balance fee.
Language of Examination:The language medium of the examination can also be changed by the candidates from English to Hindi/Gujarati and vice versa.
Name, State of Eligibility and Date of Birth:These details will also be open for correction during the allotted time period.
Category:The provision of changing categories will also be provided to the candidates. If the candidates change their category from general to reserved, then no refund of fees will be done. However, if the candidates change their category from reserved to general, then they will have to pay the balance fee.
Additional fee has to be paid by the candidates during correction facility for the following conditions:
Selection of both Paper I and Paper II
Change of category from SC/ST/Girls/PwD to General/OBC NCL
Eligible Candidates for JEE Main Application Form Correction 2020
All of the candidates should have completed the registration process and paid the fee to be eligible to avail the correction facility of JEE Main 2020 application form. Candidates with the incomplete application form will not be allowed to use the correction facility. After the completion of application form correction process, the exam authorities will release theJEE Main 2020 admit cardon December 6, 2019 for January session and for April attempt on March 16, 2020.
Refund of Money
If a candidate earlier opted for both Paper I and Paper II, but now wanted to appear in any one paper only, the candidates were not refunded any money.
Candidates who opted for reserved category during correction when they have filled general or OBC NCL earlier were also not refunded
