The video essay is a 2-minute introduction of themselves, their career goals, and motivations for pursuing an MBA at LPU. The video essay evaluation parameters include communication skills, fluency, relevance, and depth of introduction, body language, structure, and organization, time management, professionalism, audio quality, and visual quality.

Additionally, they must qualify in the LPU NEST or CAT or MAT or XATor NMAT or CMAT or CUET exams and successfully pass video essay and interview.

If a student has achieved an 80th percentile or above in CAT, MAT, or XAT, or holds an All India Rank of up to 30,000 in CMAT, or has scored 230 or above in NMAT, they will be exempt from taking the LPU NEST .
